When your child is part of our infant program, our nurturing staff is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for you and your little one. We support and encourage your baby’s development with appropriate activities that encourage growth within their first 12 months of life. This is the first stepping stone on their path to success throughout their early years. From tummy time to rolling over, from grasping to sitting, from crawling to pulling up to standing up are unmistakable developmental milestones and signs that your baby is growing fast! We also provide daily electronic reports through Tadpoles, our digital communications tool, which documents your baby’s day with us, including diaper changes, feedings, naps etc.
Our toddler program’s highly trained teachers plan daily activities and sensory experiences that encourage your child’s exploration and creativity. Toddlers thrive in a setting that provides consistency and structure. Our daily schedule combines a balance of quiet activities, designated play areas, music and movement and climbing and jumping in the Imaginarium, our indoor play structure. Your toddler will experience activities including stories, songs, rhymes and patterns that support and encourage their language development. These activities support your toddler’s development as they progress from playing on their own to playing together. This also encourages children to develop and foster friendships with their peers. We also provide daily electronic reports through Tadpoles, our digital communications tool, which documents your child’s day with us, including diaper changes, snacks and meals, naps etc.
The Sari Isdaner Early Childhood Center preschool program is based on the Creative Curriculum, which helps children acquire social competence and the skills they need to succeed as learners. The preschool program infuses each day with the core content standards of language arts and emerging literacy, reading and math readiness, engaging science, technology, creative arts, and Jewish programming within Judaic traditions and values. All of our preschool programs provide developmentally appropriate activities to promote emerging social-emotional, physical, cognitive and verbal skills through play. Children are immersed into music and movement, multi-sensory experiences and play learning stations.
The Sari Isdaner Early Childhood Center is the perfect place to grow as a family, and when your child is enrolled you become part of our family. Building a supportive, welcoming and dynamic community for our parents is a special part of who we are. We encourage parents to get involved in one of our parent engagement programs, like our Parent Committee, where you plan events for your child’s classroom and/or our school. We also offer opportunities on a monthly basis for families, teachers, and staff to get together through socials, family Shabbat dinners, our monthly Shabbat Shabang program and more.
