An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Friday, repeating until January 29, 2021
Join us on an exploration of the role of luxury items in the ancient and medieval world–spice, silk, incense, and other rarities–as a driving force for exploration and trade. Through a combined geographic/historical approach, we will join caravans in Arabia, camel treks in Central Asia, caravels in the Bay of Bengal, and other fantastic journeys in search of rare and luxurious items.
