Group Fitness Classes
The JCC offers over 100 free group fitness classes every week. No matter what your fitness level, interest or schedule, we offer classes that fit into your lifestyle. Our certified and trained group fitness instructors are here to create a fun experience all while motivating and encouraging you to take it up a notch to hit your fitness goals! Hop on one of our Spin bikes, get grooving to the music in Zumba®, pump it up in BODYPUMP™, work your core in Core Barre, and so much more.
Fitness Classes Offered:
- Aqua Jam: High intensity water workout includes strong cardio and full body training with resistance equipment. All levels are welcome.
- Aqua Yoga: Experience poses and postures in this all-level yoga class while being buoyant in the water.
- “Be Fit” Aqua: Join in the fun with this one hour aqua workout! Low to non-impact aerobic workout with toning, strength and balance segments utilizing buoyancy belts and noodles.
- Deep Water Aqua: Intense water workout including strong cardio and full body training with resistance equipment. Must be comfortable in deep water and wear a buoyancy belt.
- House Party Fitness: This fun, aerobic class burns high calories and works all muscle groups while having fun!
- Water Therapy*: Increase muscle tone, flexibility, and core strength using a combination of exercises for arthritis and other limitations. Increase range of motion and reduce chronic pain.*Participants must provide doctor’s note before access to class.
- Pilates Reformer ($): Private groups; using specialized Pilates equipment designed for strength training.
- Mat Pilates Beginner: Tone muscles, develop core strength and stability – these basic moves will help chronic pain and improve posture – all levels welcome.
- Mat Pilates Levels 1&2: Some mat experience or moderate level of fitness required. Intermediate moves to deepen core engagement and challenge postural muscles.
- Beats Cycling: Use of music, songs and & rhythm to create dynamic rides. You will ride and follow the tempo of the songs. This class will leave you feeling energized and happy. All levels welcome.
- Power Cycling: Combinations of drills, challenges and training exercises to motivational music. Option to use a monitor as a tool to track performance in this class. Variations of speed and resistance will challenge riders. Classes can either be interval, strength, endurance, tempo or a mix. No class is ever the same. All levels welcome.
- Road Cycling: Use of console, numbers and heart rate zones while timed intervals push the pace. Road classes bring the challenge of hills, intervals and sprints indoors. Built to mimic the unpredictability of real-world terrains. All levels welcome.
- BeFit Combo: This heart-healthy aerobic class will energize your active lifestyle using low-impact movements that focus on building upper body and core strength plus cardio endurance. This class incorporates low weight, high repetition resistance exercises to tone and sculpt your muscles.
- BeFit Strong: A combination of strength-building tools to develop all 360 degrees of your body. This workout rolls from exercise to exercise without break using different props so you never burn out one muscle group.
- BODYPUMP™: Les Mills original barbell class training all body parts choreographed to great music while using light plates and high repetitions for each muscle group! This high fat burning weight training class is designed for all levels.
- Core Barre: Total body workout that will help build a strong core, tone muscles, improve flexibility and mental focus. Obtain lean thighs, tone arms, lifted seat and flattened abs.
- Meditation: Do you have trouble relaxing? Learn the basics of mindfulness. This practice will teach you how to distance yourself from your mind to relieve stress and cope with everyday life.
- Movement & Motivation: Explore your body’s possibilities through music both old and new to improve your balance, flexibility, coordination and gait. Ideal class for those with Parkinson’s or chronic illnesses.
- Step It Up: This class delivers a physical and mental challenge where you build patterns and combinations on your step followed by muscle conditioning with light weights and strong core work for abs.
- Tai Chi: Reduce stress, improve balance, blood pressure and bone density.

- TRX® Suspension Training ($): Total Resistance Exercise. A suspension training workout building true functional strength while improving flexibility, strength, and core all at the same time.
- Triple Threat: This workout is designed to define your muscles, build endurance and get results. Tone your upper/lower body and core. Triple Threat uses various equipment.
- Ugi Fit: This 30-minute workout uses a weighted ball for a series of one minute basic exercises that combine fun yet challenging strength, cardio, and core training.
- Yoga Body & Mind: Create a deeper self-awareness through breath and physical sensations. Recharge your mind-body connection with healing intentions and longer holds in postures. One-hour, all level class using blocks, bolsters and straps.
- Zenflow Yoga: Awaken, recharge and connect your mind-body together with a vinyasa flow and use of varying breath techniques. One-hour class using blocks and straps.
- ZenFit Bootcamp: This athletic workout is a one-stop-shop. A high-intensity power yoga based flow delivers the best of both worlds: a hard workout and a chill mental state. Integrates cardio, light weights and core focus with a vinyasa yoga.
- Warrior Strength Flow Yoga: An athletic-based yoga practice using core and body alignment in a strength-based vinyasa flow. Create power in your body, focus in your mind and ease with your breath. One-hour class using blocks and straps.
- Gentle Yoga: Enjoy a slow, relaxing vinyasa flow. Perfect for beginners. One-hour class using blocks and straps.
- Gentle Yoga + Light Weights: Awaken, recharge and connect your mind and body together with a vinyasa flow and use of varying breath techniques. One-hour, all level class using blocks and straps.
- Gentle Yoga + Meditation: Experience your physical body movements and quite your mind. This meditative practice incorporates breath and guided relaxation techniques. One-hour all level class.
- Sound & Restore Crystal Bowl Yoga: A peaceful, gentle practice based on a healing journey that focuses on simplicity and slow flow. With a relaxing pace and modifications for every body, this one-hour all level class will restore you on every level. Using blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters to aid your physical practice and singing crystal bowls to heal you on a sensory level.
- Zumba® Fit: A combination of high energy fitness moves and Latin style dance to Latin music.
- Xtreme Mashup: Fast-paced interval training focusing on high-intensity cardio, resistance and strength segments to build muscle and cardiovascular strength utilizing various equipment and body weight. Expect high reps, explosive moves and timed intervals. Typical equipment: dumbells, bands, battle and jump ropes, BOSU and more!
- XCore: Heart pumping intervals of strength, power, resistance, ab and core training moves. This class targets all muscle groups by engaging in dynamic and isometric movements. Typical equipment: dumbells, bands, gliders, BOSU and more!
- XCore Power: Same as XCore, only the added POWER will be incorporated by including Cardio Blast movements.

Not a JCC member? Our group exercise classes are open to JCC Full Facility Members and guests with a valid JClass Pass card.
