The Katz JCC is excited to announce its newest service model, JHeart, a home-based childcare, play and learning program designed to help children and their families.
We know that for families, your priority is to keep you and your family safe. Many families with children, particularly young children, are missing their routines, their normal childcare services and socialization. JHeart, as it’s an ideal solution for any family looking to safely offer some of these familiar and necessary aspects of life back into life as we know it now. Our trained professionals will ensure that your child/ren continue to receive developmentally appropriate practices. This is a program that will aid families now and into the forseeable future.”
One aspect of JHeart’s services provides home-based childcare for those with children, as young as infants through elementary and middle school. Qualified, background checked staff will travel to the home of the family they are matched with and can assist with playtime, meals, nap time and enriching, age-appropriate activities for each child.
Another offering of JHeart includes hiring a qualified educator or tutor, and staff are able to help with all school subject matters required.
Applications are now being accepted for interested families to be matched with the appropriate caregiver for home-based childcare help. For more information about JHeart home-based childcare, please contact Michelle Carrera-Foster at [email protected].
The JHeart program has been outstanding in providing Mikaela an opportunity to interact and play with someone else while also giving my husband and I some time to focus on work. Similar to daycare, Mikaela is so happy at the end of the day and I’m confident that this will make the eventual transition back to daycare easier on both of us.” – Gabi, JHeart parent.
Scholarships are available through the Raymond & Gertrude Saltzman Foundation.
