Katz JCC Adult Meal ProgramLunch with Friends

The Katz JCC is home to ‘J’ Dining Adult Lunch Program, a social gathering for community members ages 60+. We serve up to 90 meals a day, which makes us the largest congregate lunch program in Camden County. All are welcome to join us Monday through Friday for a delicious Kosher lunch prepared on site. We are more than just a meal – take advantage of transportation to and from the JCC, build up an appetite by enjoying an exercise or craft class and make new friends! We celebrate Shabbat every Friday with the lighting of the candles and a special lunch, we recognize all the major Jewish holidays such as Chanukah, Passover and Purim and monthly birthday celebrations! This government subsidized lunch program is supervised by the Senior Citizens United Community Services Inc. (SCUCS), and costs $3.00 a person per meal.

Join us Wednesday, July 17 •  9am-5pm for #JCCBubbesBrisket Day at the J!

We’re hosting a fundraising event!  #JCCBubbesBrisket is an attempt to fund the Adult Meal Program.  It is our fourth annual campaign that typically takes place online only.  In addition to the month-long crowd-funding for this campaign, this year we are hosting  #JCCBubbesBrisket Day at the J. Staff and volunteers will accept in-person donations all day long. Donors will be able to meet the seniors that would benefit from this fundraiser. Join us as meal program participants personally collect donations, samples of the meal program food will be handed out and recipe cards will be given to donors.  If you would like to contribute but are unable to attend our event, you can donate online HERE, now through Wednesday, July 31,2019.
