Seeking Athletes and Coaches for the 2024 Mid Atlantic Mini and Junior Maccabi Games. This is a one-day sports competition for Jewish Athletes ages 9-12 as of the competition date on 5/5/2024. Athletes from JCCs across the Mid-Atlantic Region compete each Spring, and this is a great way for kids to experience the JCC Maccabi Games®

Mini Games ages 9-10

Junior Games Ages 11-12 years old

Sports Categories

Sports will include Boys’ and girls’ basketball both ages, Soccer, Swimming, Baseball, Tennis as well as the option for second sports:

• 1-Mile Race
• Individual Skills Competitions: Soccer (Penalty Kicks), Baseball & Softball (Homerun Derby), Basketball (HORSE), and Football (Pass, Punt, and Kick)
• Esports (Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros)
• Pickleball (doubles)

• Girls Basketball ages 9-12 years 3/10 1-2pm at JCC coach Jeff Simons
• Boys Basketball 9-12 years Coach Harris Adler 2/25 at JCC from 1-2pm 
• Swimming Boys/Girls Ages 9-12yrs with Coach Veronica Refela (No physical tryout please submit swim times/events to Coach Veronica)
• Baseball Ages 9-12yrs TBD but please register if interested in this sport!
• Tennis Ages 9-12 yrs TBD per interest for this sport
• Soccer Boys Tryout Ages 9-12: Sun, 3/3 from 5pm-6pm 
• Soccer Girls Tryout Ages 9-12: Sun, 3/3 from 5pm-6pm
• Soccer Boys 2nd Tryout Ages 9-12: Tuesday, 2/27 from 5:15pm-6:15pm
• Soccer Girls 2nd Tryout Ages 9-12: Tuesday, 2/27 from 5:15pm-6:15pm
  *Soccer: You do not need to attend both tryout dates.

Non-Member Registration Instructions

1. 1. Then, click “sign up” in the top right-hand corner.

1. 1. Select “Guest – J Path” scroll down and click “start” then follow the prompts. Be sure to add any children or other household members that you want to be able to register for programs.

1. 1. When you get to the Welcome screen, proceed by clicking “Register for programs”.

1. 1. Find and select the category “JCC Maccabi Games”.

1. 1. (Optional) Filter your results by clicking “Mid-Atlantic Maccabi Games Tryouts”.

1. Find the tryout link you are interested in and follow the prompts to register.
