The Katz JCC is the perfect place where tweens and teens ages 11-18 can socialize and have fun while building new friendships and cultivate a sense of belonging at the JCC. Tweens (grades 6th-8th) can participate in events just for them such as Canvas Paint Night, Limo Scavenger Hunt, Ski Trip and Thanksgiving Eve Plymouth Rock Hop. Drone Legends, Drone Club
We have an exciting new after school program coming to JCC this March: DRONE LEGENDS!
Drone Legends is a fun, hands-on learning experience using indoor drones!
Every Thursday, March 19 through April 16 (4-5pm), your kids will:
- Use block coding applications to program and launch these incredible drones
- Learn how to correctly pilot a drone (no more getting lost in the trees or on rooftops!)
- Learn responsible drone use, including safety, and FAA regulations, providing them with practical skills for drone-filled future career opportunities!
- Have an absolute blast getting to fly drones in a controlled, structured environment
This new club is ideal for those 9 to 14 years old (we are open to applicants outside of that range).
Be a part of our NEW JMedia Studio! Kids and teens will get hands-on experience in audio and video production by creating their own beats, songs, videos, commercials, podcasts and more! This new addition to the Katz JCC is ideal for kids ages 9-15 years old. This spring we will offer several classes:
JMEDIA Music Producers
JMEDIA TV, Radio & Film

JCC Maccabi Games & Mid-Atlantic Junior Maccabi Games
The JCC Maccabi Games are the largest annual gathering of Jewish teens ages 13-16 from around the world! This Olympic style sports competition is held each summer and offers teens the chance to be a part of an incredible athletic, social and cultural experience. The Katz JCC’s South Jersey delegation travels to compete across the county with over 5,000 teens worldwide. In addition, the Mid-Atlantic Junior Maccabi Games is a 1 day sports competition for Jewish athletes ages 10-12. Athletes from JCCs across the Mid-Atlantic region compete each spring, and this is a great way for kids to experience the JCC Maccabi Games on a smaller scale prior to participating in the “big games.” Learn more about the JCC Maccabi Games & Mid-Atlantic Junior Maccabi Games!
