The Katz JCC is the perfect place where pre-teens and teens ages 11-18 can socialize and have fun while building new friendships and cultivate a sense of belonging at the JCC. Pre-Teens (grades 6th-8th) can participate in events just for them such as Canvas Paint Night, Limo Scavenger Hunt, Ski Trip and Thanksgiving Eve Plymouth Rock Hop. For more information about pre-teen programming, please contact Sarah Rowland at firstname.lastname@example.org
JCC Maccabi Games & Mid-Atlantic Junior Maccabi Games
The JCC Maccabi Games are the largest annual gathering of Jewish teens ages 13-16 from around the world! This Olympic style sports competition is held each summer and offers teens the chance to be a part of an incredible athletic, social and cultural experience. The Katz JCC’s South Jersey delegation travels to compete across the county with over 5,000 teens worldwide. In addition, the Mid-Atlantic Junior Maccabi Games is a 1 day sports competition for Jewish athletes ages 10-12. Athletes from JCCs across the Mid-Atlantic region compete each spring, and this is a great way for kids to experience the JCC Maccabi Games on a smaller scale prior to participating in the “big games.” Learn more about the JCC Maccabi Games & Mid-Atlantic Junior Maccabi Games!
Project Rainbow is a partnership between the Katz JCC and Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Services, aimed at providing support and social opportunities for teens in grades 7th-12th who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Queer. Social events will be planned in conjunction with opportunities for group support and discussion. For more information, please contact Sara Sideman at email@example.com.
