Youth & Family Fitness Classes
When children learn at an early age that fitness can be fun, they stay engaged and active, and build the foundation for a healthy life. The JCC’s youth fitness classes are specifically designed for ages 5-15 and are intended to introduce them to new skills and spark their interest in fitness!
Expresso for Kids
Supervised by our JCC Fitness Center staff, kids will be introduced to the virtual world of riding the Expresso bike which offers a variety of competitive gaming options to motivate users to stay active. In this fun and engaging program, participants will ride in virtual games and bike courses while burning calories. Points will be totaled each week with prizes awarded.

Girls On The Run
For girls in grades 3rd-5th, make new friends and build inner self confidence through dynamic, conversation based lessons and running games. Girls will end the program by running a 5K race as a group. Held in conjunction with the Cherry Hill Township Mayor’s Wellness Campaign. Class meets twice a week (no classes week of April 1). Heart & Sole
For girls in grades 6th-8th, this class creates a positive structured space for middle school girls to learn about themselves, explore new ideas, strengthen connections and develop life skills that will help them as they move through adolescence and beyond. Girls will end the program by running a 5K race as a group. Class meets twice a week.

Kids Drums Alive!
This class for kids in grades 2-5 will utilize “whole-brain-whole-body” through dynamic aerobic movements with pulsating rhythms of the drum. Improve balance, concentration, learning ability and rhythm in addition to getting a cardiovascular workout.

Listen to cool sounds grades K-2nd will connect with while learning basic yoga poses to help reduce stress, increase focus and build self-confidence. Also learn breathing techniques that can be used before school tests, presentations, team contests and at times of anxiety.

Kids Fit Club
For kids ages 9-12, this educational and challenging fitness program designed to educate kids about nutrition and fitness while building confidence and encouraging fun. Kids Club includes exercise classes, a weekly session with a personal training and nutrition education.

For ages 10-12, exercise with your friends under the supervision of JCC personal trainers in the Fitness Center, who will create a Cardio Workout of the Day.

Kidz In Motion
NEW fun filled class for our preschool members! Kids improve coordination, flexibility and more. Through music, movement and games, kids learn the benefits of staying active while building confidence and teamwork.

Small Group Teen Tabata Bootcamp®
For ages 15+, this high fat burning interval cardio class includes elements of Bootcamp including jump rope, plyometrics, strength training core and flexibility.

S.U.G.A.R. - Standing Up Good and Right
Does your child have Diabetes or eat too much sugar in their diet? Join us for a FREE parental information session, Sunday, January 7 from 11:30am-12pm.
This class is open to the community and ideal for children from grades 2-5. S.U.G.A.R encourages kids with diabetes to make healthy choices through food and exercise. This program was developed with guidance from Cooper University Hospital.
S.U.G.A.R benefits include:
- Learn how to make healthier food choices
- Improve cardiovascular and strength endurance

- Kids will participate in 6 exercise classes followed by fun nutrition-centered activities and games

The cardio class is a fun workout with kid-friendly music and routines based on original Zumba choreography. Games, activities and cultural exploration elements are introduced to promote a healthy lifestyle through creativity, confidence and self-esteem. Teamwork and coordination will improve in this exciting class and will leave you sweating, smiling and singing!

Family Fitness Classes
We offer these classes to families with children ages 5+ when accompanied by an adult, which is a great way to work out together as a family!
The family that works out together, gets healthy together. Different types of exercises using various equipment are utilized while pairing up with family members. Great cardio, strength and toning class for the entire family.
