Whether you are looking to be inspired, learn more about Jewish culture or be entertained – the Katz JCC is the perfect place to attend one of our special cultural events! We are home to a nationally recognized Jewish film festival, and arts & culture festival as well as a destination for prominent Jewish literary, cultural and political personalities who engage and motivate. All of our events provide you the opportunity to socialize and expand your knowledge.

Jewish Life & Holiday Celebrations

Embrace Jewish life and holiday celebrations with your family and friends at the Katz JCC. We offer year round holiday celebrations that we designed for families of all ages, cultures and faiths! At the J, we hold a variety of programs centered around various Jewish holidays that include Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, Passover as well as weekly Shabbat celebrations.

Appel Art Gallery

Located in the heart of the Katz JCC, the Appel Art Gallery showcases the artwork of local and nationally recognized artists whose works center around Jewish spiritual, cultural, and historical themes. Exhibits rotate throughout the year and include mediums such as photography, jewelry, sculpture, painting, and textiles.

Sanders Memorial Library

The Katz JCC is home the Sanders Memorial Library, the only Jewish library open to everyone in the South Jersey community. Our up-to-date book collection spans a variety of genres, DVDs, audio books, CDs, large print books and Kindles! Whether you are looking for an occasional new read or a gift for a book lover, we hold quarterly used book sales where all books are discounted at a great price.

In observance of Yom Kippur, the JCC will close at 3:00pm on Friday, October 11th, and will be closed on Saturday, October 12th. We will reopen at 7:00am on Sunday, October 13th.
