The Marriage Box. A Novel

When a teenage Middle Eastern Jewish girl moves to an Orthodox Syrian Jewish Community in Brooklyn her world is turned upside down. She is shocked by this unfamiliar culture and the Marriage Box- an actual place where girls put themselves on display on the pool deck for prospective husbands. Can she integrate these opposing worlds, or will she have to leave to find her way?

On Sunday, September 8th, the gymnasium will be closed for Community Day from 7am-3:30pm. Our Indoor Pool will be closed for annual maintenance from August 19th to September 10th. Please enjoy our Outdoor Pool during this time. Hours: M-F: 6am-7:45pm. S-S: 7am-6:45pm.
