Participants must be 15 by the last day of the lifeguarding course. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will become certified in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, valid for 2 years. Participants must be able to pass per-requisites that includes: 300 yard continuous swim, a timed deep water brick retrieval and 2 minutes of no hands treading. Participants will receive a manual and pocket mask on the first day of class.
