Head Pickleball Pro, Katz JCC and Haddon Field Club
Avi Yehuda is a 4.75-ranked (DUPR) pickleball player and has played competitive pickleball across the tri-state region since 2017. He is a top 40-ranked DUPR player in the North Mid-Atlantic region. His wins include medals for mixed doubles in the Philadelphia Open and men’s doubles in the NJ Open. Avi’s passion for teaching sports started with tennis and carried over into pickleball. He is a certified pickleball instructor and has been instructing students through private lessons and clinics since 2019. Avi is the head pickleball pro at the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill, NJ and at the Haddon Field Club in Haddonfield, NJ, where he offers private lessons, open play and clinics for all ages. Avi is a life-long athlete who played professional basketball in Israel, played tennis for 10 years and is a USTA-ranked 4.5 tennis player. As a tennis player, he competed in USTA Nationals after winning four Sectionals championships with his team, and he won second place in men’s doubles at Nationals in 2016.
