Shalom Katz JCC Members,
As I finish my fifth week at the Katz JCC, I wanted to reach out to introduce myself. I am incredibly excited to have joined the team here at the J as Associate Executive Director. If you are in the building, please stop by my office in the JCC Administrative Suite so we can get to know one another. I am always available by phone, e-mail, or can set up a virtual meeting to connect. It is my hope to get to know as many families in the South Jersey community as I can.
A bit about me:
I have been involved in the field of Jewish education and engagement for over thirty years. During my career, I have worked in congregations both in early childhood centers and religious schools, secular and Jewish day and overnight camps, overseeing PJ Library in both Greater Philadelphia and Harrisburg, and helping congregations and institutions offer family engagement programming that meet the needs of families in their community. More recently, I served as Associate Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg which is an integrated Federation/JCC. There, I oversaw all the programming departments including the early learning center, membership, senior adults, Before and After Care/Vacation Days, Sports and Fitness, Camp and PJ Library. My role here at the Katz JCC is very similar, as I oversee all the programming departments.
All of this is to say, I am here for you. If you have any questions or concerns about JCC programming including our Early Childhood Camp, JCC Camps at Medford or any family events including birthday parties, swim lessons, dance classes, sports leagues, etc., I am happy to help in any way that I can. I’m also interested in programming for adults, our active seniors and teens as well. If we aren’t offering programs you are seeking, please be in touch. I cannot wait to meet you soon!
