Participants must be 15 by the last day of the lifeguarding course. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will become certified in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, valid for 2 years. Participants must be able to pass per-requisites that includes: 200 yard continuous swim, a timed deep water brick retrieval and 2 minutes of no hands treading. Participants will receive a manual and pocket mask on the first day of class.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Recertification Course
Lifeguard Recertification – BL Certification
The Lifeguarding Review Course allows currently certified lifeguards the opportunity to review the content of the Lifeguard course in a classroom setting in about half the time of a full lifeguarding course. Participants who successfully complete the Lifeguarding review course will receive new certificates in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Must pass prerequisite skills evaluation and hold a current certification in Lifeguarding/CPR/AED/First Aid or it must have expired within 30 days of the course. There is a 7-hour online course that must be completed in advance of taking this course. The link to the online course will be sent once registration is complete.
