Last weekend, we had a fabulous time at our Magical Purim program at the J. Almost 300 attendees enjoyed time with family and friends as we listed our favorite Purim characters, were amazed by magic with George, saw bubbles of various shapes and sizes and left with delicious hamantashen.
One thing I noticed was the plethora of grandparents joining their grandchildren for this family friendly PJ Library sponsored event. It made me wonder: Are you a grandparent living in South Jersey? Would you like to get involved in our newly forming grandparent committee?
Whether your children live the area or across the country or abroad, we are seeking grandparents to join us. Our new committee will help us understand the needs of grandparents living locally. You might be interested in programs to attend with your grandchildren or learning more about the issues they face in 2022. You might want to volunteer at programs we offer at the JCC or help us with fundraisers. Wherever your interests lie, we want to invite you to join the grandparenting conversation.
