The Katz JCC hosts many fitness and wellness special events throughout the year that are open to the community. All these events are a great way to get your family and friends involved in a healthy activity!
2nd Annual Parkinson’s Connection Awareness Walk
Join us for our second annual Parkinson’s Connection Awareness Walk! This one mile walk benefits the Parkinson’s programming at the Richard M. Klein Center for Wellness at the Katz JCC.

Stay Fit Where You Sit Wellness Lecture
Dr. Scott Yorker will be giving one on one instruction on how to sit with proper body mechanics and ergonomics and will give instruction on exercises to fix the common problems associated with sitting including back and neck pain related to headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. Refreshments will be served and all attendees will receive a free private consultation with Dr. Yorker.

Oy Vey 5K
Lace up your running sneakers and wear your favorite team jersey. Stay and watch the Eagles on the big screen TV. Celebrate with a bagel breakfast, refreshments and football tailgate after party.
Our annual Kids Triathlon is open to kids in the community ages 6-13. Our kid-friendly course allows participants to be a part of a heart-healthy activity and gain a sense of accomplishment as they swim, bike and run to the finish line.
Eric & Andy Sussman 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
This event is held in the spring each year, in memory of local brothers who lost their individual battles to cancer. Tournaments are held for adults, teens and children. Proceeds from the event benefit Coaches vs. Cancer and the JCC’s youth basketball programs.
