Proceeds from the Katz JCC Pro-Am provide critical financial assistance to campers at the JCC Camps at Medford, affording a memorable summer experience for all, including our Open Hearts / Open Doors Special Needs Inclusion Program.
Close to 31% of JCC campers receive some financial aid each year. In particular, funds have benefited families with a single parent, families of divorce, with severe financial hardships, with children who have disabilities and immigrant families. Approximately 60% of last year’s financial aid requests were from single parent families who receive little or no child support.
