The Katz JCC has a variety of specialty wellness classes and programs that are intended for people seeking recovery from illness, a specific health condition, or those looking to improve their overall health. Work with one of our exercise specialists and learn how to succeed through the progression of specific training that focuses on improving functional capacity, improving joint range of motion, minimizing fatigue, and preventing illness.

Fit for Kids
Sundays, December 8 – December 29
Fit for Kids offers a dynamic combination of running, jumping, stretching, and fitness games to help children build strength, coordination, and confidence. Our interactive nutrition workshop introduces kids to the fundamentals of healthy eating, where they create fun, tasty dishes and learn essential cooking skills. Each session is packed with engaging activities, hands-on cooking demos, and simple, easy-to-recreate recipes that kids can make at home. Join us for a fun and educational experience where kids can explore healthy food and build confidence in the kitchen!

In this session, a traditional ballet class structure is introduced. Students learn fundamental ballet technique through barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations designed to improve coordination, flexibility, endurance, and musicality. Socks or ballet shoes, and leotard/tights or form fitting clothing are recommended for class.
