Specialty Wellness Classes

The Katz JCC has a variety of specialty wellness classes and programs that are intended for people seeking recovery from illness, a specific health condition, or those looking to improve their overall health. Work with one of our exercise specialists and learn how to succeed through the progression of specific training that focuses on improving functional capacity, improving joint range of motion, minimizing fatigue, and preventing illness.


Summer Solstice Yoga

Prenatal Yoga (6-Week Series)

Support your body, mind, and growing baby.

Join us for a calming and empowering yoga class designed specifically for expectant moms. Prenatal Yoga helps improve flexibility, strength, and balance while relieving common pregnancy discomforts. Each class includes gentle movement, breathwork, and relaxation techniques to support a more comfortable pregnancy and prepare you for labor and delivery. Connect with other moms-to-be in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Floating Sound Bath & Meditation

Float into deep relaxation at the Katz JCC Outdoor Pool during this unique sound bath experience led by Instructor Pam Kofsky.

This one-hour wellness journey combines guided meditation, the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls and chimes, and the calming experience of floating on water to help quiet the mind, relax the nervous system, and release stress and tension. Participants may choose to float in the pool or enjoy a non-floating experience from a lounge chair poolside. Reconnect with your body, quiet the mind, and restore your energy. Your journey begins here.

Dancing Stars: 9 Week Session

Fit for Kids

Fit for Kids blends active play with hands-on nutrition fun. Kids build strength, coordination, and confidence while learning healthy habits through simple recipes they can recreate at home.

  • Hands-on cooking demos and kid-friendly recipes
  • Nutrition activities that promote healthy eating
