The DS Basketball Program provides teens (ages 16+) and young adults who are neurodivergent with the opportunity to play on a basketball team in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Weekly practices are held on Monday evenings at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM and include skill-building drills, team activities, and games. The program is led by dedicated parent volunteers, with teen peer volunteers helping participants develop basketball skills while building meaningful friendships based on shared interests.
Games and scrimmages are scheduled throughout the year, giving athletes opportunities to develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in a supportive setting.
