Summer is just around the corner – do you have plans for your young athlete, designer, magician or gamer? This summer the Katz JCC is proud to offer something for everyone with our vast array of partnerships with incredible camps!

We know that full day or overnight camp is not for everyone. For those looking for a “niche” camp, the Katz JCC has been committed to providing unique on-site camps to fill everyone’s summer desire. Whether it is continuing athletic pursuits, venturing into the computer programming world, or even trying their hand in robotics or spy tech; the Katz JCC provides the opportunity for community youngsters.

Lavner Camps offer a large number of options that will expand your youngster’s creativity. They offer high quality instruction, with a staff that is professional all the way around.

If you have a tween in your household, chances are you’ve heard of Minecraft. Lavner Camps run two specialty camps for Minecraft, one for ages 7 -12, the other for 11-14. The younger campers will focus on 3D innovation and design, and the older campers will develop elite skills in Minecraft with Java coding. The best part? Your campers will love Friday tournament competitions!

Philadelphia 76ers Camp and Philadelphia NFL Alumni Hero Youth Football Camps both provide your young athlete with training from some of the area’s top coaches and former players.

Love the Game Basketball Camp is run by current Harlem Globetrotter Brawley Chisholm. Brawley grew up in the area and attended Cherokee High School. He focuses on fundamentals on and off the court.

Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp sends us incredible trainers that have travelled from the other side of the pond to deliver an incredible soccer experience.

Please note that skill level is not important for our sports camps. Everyone can participate –from newbie to all-star status.

We look forward to seeing some familiar faces around the J this summer, enjoying these great summer specialty camps! To learn more and to register for any of these camps, please visit https://katzjcc.org/specialty-camps/.
