America’s Dad, As You’ve Never Seen Him Before

Remember back in the 90’s when you’d watch an episode of Full House and Bob Saget’s character, Danny Tanner, would have a heartfelt talk at the end of each episode with one of his daughters? He’d offer sincere advice, tell them he loved them, and each talk would always end in a hug.

That’s not the real Bob Saget. Don’t expect any hugs.

Instead, Full House at the J, this year’s highly-anticipated JCC Big Event fundraiser, promises the real Bob Saget; uncensored, unapologetic, unbelievable.

What’s more unbelievable is that this event, slated for Saturday March 23, has sold out in record time, so the house really will be Full (want in? – sponsorship opportunities are still available!).  In addition to Bob’s stand-up, the evening will feature an awesome display for dinner, amazing auction items and even more incredible live auction items!

As in years past, proceeds from this amazing night will provide financial assistance for those in need, aid the elderly, and offer assistance and programming for special needs children and adults – a cause that is near and dear to my heart. My son was diagnosed with Autism when he was 14 months old.  I am thankful for all of the guidance and support the ACHaD department and the Open Hearts / Open Doors program have provided for our family over the years.  I have seen such growth in my son’s confidence and independence and that is largely in part thanks to the JCC’s programs.
