Here in South Jersey, we are only a hundred miles from what was once the edge of a massive glacier, continent-wide during the last ice age. In this class, we will explore the world of the Great Ice Age and how it affected animals, land, the ocean, vegetation, and humans. Topics to be explored include the Bering Land Bridge, megafauna, the Mammoth Steppe of Siberia, the Black Sea, cave art in Europe, the Great Lakes, and more.
